Harry Redknapp is backing Jermain Defoe to score 40 goals for Rangers next season having quietly gone about his business as usual since joining.Since joining Steven Gerrard’s side on an 18-month loan from Bournemouth back in January, Defoe has scored seven times in eight league starts, earning a place in the Rangers starting XI following the suspension of Alfredo Morelos.2
