It proved to be an award-winning campaign for theEngland Under-20 international, who established himself as a real fan favourite at the DW Stadium. That has led to no shortage of interest in the right-backs services, with the Foxes now one of the clubs vying to bring him on loan for the 2019/20 season according to the Sun.Brendan Rodgers believes the teenager, who captained Chelsea’s FA Cup Youth winning team, has a huge future and wants him to become a mainstay in the Leicester back line for years to come.Rodgers is said to be willing to test Chelsea’s willingness to hold onto James with Maurizio Sarri’s future in west London still uncertain. The youngster signed a new deal with the club just last year which sees him contracted with the Blues until 2020 – but the report states Stamford Bridge may be tempted with a bid in the region of 15m.However, Rodgers will have to fend off interest from Man United for his signature as Ole Gunnar Solskjaer is also a huge admirer of the defender. The Red Devils believe they hold the edge in securing a deal as James’ younger sister Lauren plays for Uniteds womens team.Everton boss Marco Silva is also keen on the full-back, while Crystal Palace and Burnley are also reportedly keeping tabs on the Chelsea starlet.

The 20-year-old right-back has been a key man for the last two seasons at Anfield.
