A privately-funded search found the location of the plane and recovered a body from the wreckage, which was later identified as Sala.Pilot David Ibbotson, who was the only other person on the flight, remains missing with a crowdfunding campaign set up to ensure the search for him continues. Cardiff owner Vincent Tan has made a personal donation of 50,000 to the campaign.Sala’s body will berepatriated to Argentina on Friday ahead of a wake at boyhood club San Martin de Progreso the following day. Bluebirds manager Warnock and Choo, the club’s chief executive, will be part of a Cardiff delegation attending the funeral.Warnock has previously called Sala’s death ‘a loss to everyone in football and his team have worn daffodils on their shirts to pay their respects to the former Nantes striker.“Youve seen tributes from all over the place,” Warnock said, “from little clubs in the fourth division to the top clubs.2
