However, Sky Sports News claims Dortmund have held a torch for the Ivory Coast international since the summer and they remain keen on him as they look to recruit a replacement for Christian Pulisic, who will officially join Chelsea next season. On the Zaha to Dortmund rumours, Hodgson said:“There’s been absolutely no dialogue whatsoever between Borussia Dortmund and Crystal Palace.“Wilf Zaha signed a long-term contract with Crystal Palace – he is very much our player.” The reports gathered huge momentum when Dortmund’s sporting director Michael Zorc said Zaha was a “good player” when asked by journalists on Thursday, but Zorc refused to comment on the reports.Hodgson added:“The fact is, when they are asked the question, ‘What do you think of Wilf Zaha? Do you think he’s a good player?’ I’d be very surprised if there’s any clubs out there that would say, ‘No, I don’t think he’s any good’.“But that doesn’t mean that they are going to buy him.”
