Higuain had been linked with a move to Chelsea in the summer, but joined Milan in a 16.3m loan deal, with the club having an option to buy him permanently for 32.6m.“As you know, I like him very much. He is a wonderful player, a wonderful man,” Sarri said at his press conference.“But I don’t want to talk about Higuain. I have two strikers, two-and-a-half at the moment, and Gonzalo is playing for AC Milan. It’s better not to talk about him at the moment.”2

Higuain worked under Sarri at Napoli and scored 36 goals under the manager during the 2015/16 season before joining Juventus for 90m

However, Milan boss Gennaro Gattuso said his player would not be going anywhere.“Chelsea don’t buy players who are 30, 31 years old. I don’t know anything about it, I will not let Higuain go,” he said.
